Translating to 'vegetation' in Arabic, the inspiration was drawn from the distinctive colors and textures of the region's natural landscape. Recognizing that a city-centric lifestyle can sometimes obscure our connection to the environment, I envisioned this collection as a legacy for future generations, a way to introduce them to the unique flora of their homeland. The deliberate pairing of well-known flowers like the Bougainvillea alongside the culturally significant Ghaf flower – a species deeply rooted in the GCC. Thus aiming to create a sense of familiarity and pride, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for the UAE's natural and cultural heritage.
